📌 Important Trip Information

To help you prepare for a seamless experience, here are a few key details to keep in mind when planning your visit:

Fishing Licenses

  • All non-residents of Canada who are 18 or older must carry:

  1. An Outdoors Card: a plastic, wallet-sized ID card valid for three calendar years. If you plan to fish more than 1 day, you will need an Outdoors Card. Outdoors Cards are mailed by Service Ontario and need to be purchased ahead of time.

  2. A Non-Resident Fishing License: available as either a Sport License (higher limits) or a Conservation License (lower limits).

  • Children under 18 don’t need their own license if they are fishing with a licensed adult, but any fish they keep will count toward that adult’s catch and possession limits. If they want their own limits, they’ll need to purchase a licence.

Floatplane Departures

  • Standard flights to and from our Ear Falls water base are included in your package and scheduled starting at 7:00 AM on your arrival day.

  • Guests who choose the Early Afternoon Arrival will fly in the evening before and enjoy an extra night to settle in before their adventure begins ($175 upgrade per person).

  • An Extra Full Day (Non-Guided) Extension is available to guests for $300 per person.

Pricing & Deposits

  • All package rates are in USD per person

  • 13% HST tax is not included in listed pricing

  • A $900 deposit per person is required at the time of booking

  • Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another reservation within the same season

  • Full balance is due 30 days prior to your scheduled trip date

Savings Opportunities:

  • Receive a 5% discount when you pay your full balance before January 1 of each new year

  • Get 50% off of package prices for children aged12 and under at time of arrival

  • Get 25% off of package prices for children aged 13-17 at time of arrival

Payment Methods

  • We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, and Mastercard.

  • Please make checks or money orders payable to Cat Island Lodge.
